The moment you here “Paris “triggers your mind to revolve around one object – The Eiffel Tower. At least that’s what it does for me.
I always wanted to go to Eiffel Tower since I learnt about it. The structure of it I think magnificent and fabulous. It was erected in 1889 by Gustave Eiffel after which it was consequently named. The tower I guess has 3 levels of which we were on the second. The view from the second floor itself was mind boggling. This tower is the highest and most recognized building of Paris.
I wish that I could see it at night in its flushing lights. Any way there is always a Next time to it……..

On May the 4th 2016 Rucha Valwade, her family and 20 of her students went on a tour to Germany. Here they visited our school and hometown Kirchhellen. When Rucha told us that she wanted to visit Germany again, we were very happy that we could host her again in our home and this time also meets her husband and daughter. It was great as well to meet her Indian students. We quickly found many families who were willing to show them a German home and a German everyday life. I know that all those families found it as a great enrichment to host the Indian students, because they not only got the opportunity to show them our German culture but also to learn some things about the Indian culture. Sadly the stay was over way too soon, but I am sure everyone involved had a great time and looks back at that memory with delight.

Actually since long back I am a student of Rucha Mam. She gave me an opportunity to visit Germany, Austria, France and Switzerland through Europe Study Tour Program.
We saw Kolner Dom, VGK School, Reichstag – Parliament house, Brandenburg Tor, Check Point Charlie, Berlin Mauer (wall), BMW Head Quarters, Hafbrauhaus, Uberlingen, Cruise, Zeppelins, Triberg waterfall, Heidelberg University in Germany.
In Switzerland we saw Zurich City and Railway Station. We enjoyed at Rheinfall. We saw Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame and Arc de Triomphe in Paris.
I liked the most Pfander Mountain in Ausria. Its height is 1064 meter. We can see Konstanz Lake, Germany, Austria and Switzerland from this Mountain.
This tour has changed my view of life. This tour has increased canvas of my life; it became actually Turning Point of my life.
